About SynthPost.ai

AI-powered read-later โ€” save links, get clear summaries.

SynthPost.ai is a personal reading tool that takes the friction out of staying informed. Paste or queue any article URL and the service automatically fetches the full page, generates a concise AI summary, and stores everything in a searchable library you can browse at your own pace.

What it does

  • โœฆ Save & summarise Drop in any article link. SynthPost scrapes the full text and produces a readable AI summary so you get the gist without opening the tab.
  • ๐Ÿ“‚ Organise by tag Every article is automatically tagged and indexed. Filter by topic, domain, or keyword to find what you need fast.
  • ๐Ÿ“ง Email recaps Subscribe for weekly or monthly digest emails that surface the most interesting saves from your library.
  • โค Favourites & archive Star articles you want to revisit; archive the ones you're done with. A clean queue keeps the library tidy.

How it works

When a URL is queued, SynthPost fetches the page, strips away ads and boilerplate, and sends the cleaned text to an AI language model (currently Anthropic Claude) to produce a summary. Metadata such as the original title, author, publication date, and domain favicon are preserved alongside the summary so you always know where the content came from.

Discovery features can also surface new reading material automatically: the service can periodically search for articles matching configured topics and add them to the queue without any manual input.

Who made it

SynthPost.ai is built and operated by Earnest Software Engineering, a Miami-based software consultancy. It started as an internal reading tool and grew into the service you're looking at now.

Technology

The application is built on Laravel and runs on a MariaDB database. AI summarisation is powered by Anthropic Claude. Transactional email is handled by Resend.
